Now that I am working out of the home again (it is always a balance of resources, isn't it?) I find that the structures and schedules I had established this autumn need some spring cleaning.
Things are in a state of change in my world, and this so very often feels like a studio mid-creation: papers stacked around my desk, palettes and paints in rainbow colors across my work space, photos and inspirations taped haphazardly to the wall, pencil shavings, coffee cups, flower petals and rocks and notebooks all willy-nilly. Yes, I am a messy creator. I also savor the clean up, but now in adulthood I have seen this pattern play out large and small. It is spring and I have just finished a new body of work with the Buckman show as my deadline. With my hair still standing on end, now it the time to take a look around and think: let's apply some order here.
There are a bunch of new illustrations and cards that will be slowly trickling into the shop. It takes some time on my end so if you have seen something around town that isn't yet in the shop feel free to contact me your inquiry. I'll be getting the newcomers to Etsy in the coming weeks and to new shops in Portland. If you have a store in your area you would like to see my cards, please drop me a line!
